Ken made the top 10 but failed to make the Rapids roster.
Mustangs own player, ken, made the 3 round cut but failed to make the MSL -Colorado Rapids roster for 2004. Ten players were left onthe final pool and 4 were selected for the Rapids roster. Ken was on of the six players that were cut.
Our hope was for Ken to make the Rapids roster. Mustangs was disapointed but very happy for Ken to go this far. Not too many players have this chance like of Ken. We are proud and know what ken can do.
Ken will be one of the driving forces for the Mustangs in 2004. If you have not seen gim play come and see him in action. We think you will agreed that he is PRO material.

HASA 2003:
Mustangs beat Raptors ; loss to Cal_Flash in Quarter final
Latest from Hasa tourney: The Mustangs traveled to Fresno, CA to play a soccer tournament.HASA is one of the Hmong premier tournaments- all Hmong CA top teams were there. Teams including Tornado, CA Flash, Punisher, Dragon Warriors, Chico Liners, Raptor and others. Denver Mustangs played well in HASA but unhappy with the results. Mustangs won 3 and took a loss. In the round robin group - beating Road runner 2-1, Chico-Lines 2-1, and Raptors 3-1 but fell short to Cal_Flash in the quarter finals on PK. "...we were un-happy with the results, its unfortune but we thought we played well but not well enough to advance to next round. On the positive side we played 3 of CA Hmong best teams ( Raptors, Chico, CAL-FLASH) and victor 2 of them ; we mapped and charted a territory pointing to Denver, CO.
Other notes: We thought HASA ran the tournament poorly. It was un-organized. Teams were upset and confused. There were no refs to referee games. HASA management were confused and failed to acknowledge the faults due to lack of knowledge on how to run a successful tournament. The Mustangs will not attend HASA future events unless otherwise it shows fairness and improvement.
